Audio Memory puts math facts to music, singing tables in echo style. Each song is different and is repeated with a pause before answers are provided, for self-testing. Each kit includes a reproducible workbook.
Addition Songs: 25-minute sound track begins with counting from 1 to 20, then teaches math facts from 1+1 to 9+9.
Subtraction Songs: 37-minute track with songs that teach from 1-1 to 20-12.
Multiplication Songs: 32-minute track teaches from 2x2 to 12x12.
Division Songs: 34-minutes; teaches facts from 2/2 to 144/12. Facts are taught in sets (2's, 3's, etc.) but are sung out of order for more challenge.

Our arithmetic system depends on memorization for its most efficient use. Children enjoy memorizing if it is taught well, with good humor and patience and as a learning challenge. Any child can be taught to memorize. Because memorization is based on imitation, it is the easiest form of learning.

How to Tutor
I have been very pleased with your tapes. So far, we have used the Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Grammar Kits and we have been very happy with the results. I home school my grandson who is hyperactive and it is hard to keep his attention. However, when he listens to your lessons with music, he learns his lessons very quickly.

One of the many ways children learn is with 'musical intelligence.' For this child, the old-fashioned method of singing the multiplication tables will work best. We have seen children learn their tables with this tape, surprising themselves and their parents.
